Founded in 2025, Prospect Horizon Capital is a long-only hedge fund focused on compounding capital through ownership of quality businesses purchased at attractive prices. The fund combines a disciplined, research-driven approach with deep familiarity with both the Israeli and U.S. markets. We focus on small and mid-cap companies that often trade at meaningful discounts to their intrinsic value. With deep insight into Israel’s economy and corporate landscape and a strong understanding of U.S. market dynamics, Prospect Horizon Capital seeks to uncover opportunities often overlooked by larger investors across both geographies.
Barak Ben-Avraham
Founder & Managing Partner
Barak founded Prospect Horizon Capital in 2025 and serves as its Managing Partner. Before establishing the fund, he specialized in value investing, mezzanine financing, and fund investment strategy, collaborating with global firms such as Blackstone and Khosla Ventures.

Following his service in Unit 8200, Barak held roles at Playtika, The Coca-Cola Company, and the Central Bank of Israel.

Barak is an M.B.A. candidate at Yale University and holds an M.A. in Financial Economics and a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
